1. Service Description

Demanding.ai ("Service") is a document preparation tool that helps consumers draft demand letters based on information they provide. The Service is operated by Lit Law LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

2. No Legal Advice

The Service does NOT provide legal advice. Lit Law LLC is NOT a law firm. No attorney-client relationship is created between you and Demanding.ai or Lit Law LLC by using this Service. This product is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. The documents generated are based on the information you provide and general legal principles.

3. No Guarantee of Outcome

We make no representations or warranties regarding the outcome of sending a demand letter generated by this Service. The effectiveness of any demand letter depends on the specific facts and circumstances of your dispute, the applicable law, and the actions of the other party.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of the information you provide
  • Reviewing the generated letter before sending it
  • Sending the letter yourself (unless you purchase mail delivery)
  • Any consequences that arise from sending the letter

5. Payment and Refunds

The fee for an AI-generated demand letter is $99, payable via Stripe. Attorney-reviewed letters are available for $299. Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion within 7 days of purchase if you have not downloaded the letter. Once downloaded, the letter is non-refundable.

6. Attorney Referral

Demanding.ai may offer to connect you with a licensed attorney for additional services, including attorney-reviewed demand letters and legal consultations. Any attorney services are provided by independent, licensed attorneys and not by Lit Law LLC. An attorney-client relationship is created only when you and the attorney execute a written engagement agreement.

7. Privacy

We collect information you provide to generate your demand letter. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Demanding.ai and Lit Law LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to the outcome of any dispute or legal proceeding.

9. Geographic Limitation

This Service is currently available only for Texas residents sending demands to Texas addresses. The AI cites Texas and federal statutes only. If you are located outside of Texas, or your dispute involves a party outside of Texas, please consult a licensed attorney in the applicable jurisdiction.

10. Artificial Intelligence Disclosure

You are interacting with an artificial intelligence system. Your demand letter is generated by AI software, not by a human attorney. AI systems may produce inaccurate citations, misinterpret legal principles, or cite cases and statutes that do not exist. You must independently verify all legal citations and claims in your letter before relying on them.

11. Scope Limitation

The Service generates demand letters only. It does not prepare court filings, real property documents, family law documents, wills or trusts, immigration documents, or criminal defense documents.

12. Statute of Limitations

Sending a demand letter does NOT stop, toll, or extend any statute of limitations applicable to your claims. If a filing deadline is approaching, consult a licensed attorney immediately.

13. Non-Discrimination

Demanding.ai does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic in the provision of its services.

14. TRAIGA Compliance

In compliance with the Texas Responsible AI Governance Act (HB 149), Demanding.ai discloses that this service uses artificial intelligence to generate documents. This service is developed with reference to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF 1.0).

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
